The story behind the mission
In a previous chapter of my career, working on purely tactical projects showed me what I'd suspected all along - that tactics in isolation simply don't work.
I watched as my pragmatic and strategic insights were dismissed, while clients desperately needed exactly that kind of thinking. I saw marketing being done in ways that felt unethical, overcomplicated, and ultimately ineffective. I knew there was a better way. That's when I realised that to make the difference I wanted to see, I needed to lead rather than follow.
I've learned the hard way that building a business isn't just about working harder; it's about working sustainably. After burning out from overworking to make sure I was looking after my people instead of building something aligned with my own values and lifestyle, I discovered what truly matters: creating impact that lasts.

Doing business positively matters more now than ever
People get so stuck with marketing, and it's really not that complicated. We need to hear different stories more than ever in this world. Marketing isn't just advertising; it's the tool for showing people how you help them, how you inspire them, and how you make business decisions that drive positive change.
The inspiration for how I work doesn't come from one pivotal moment, but from the collective wisdom of every story I've heard, every experience shared by work colleagues, family, teachers, and mentors along the way. I'm continually learning from voices like Rory Sutherland's deep knowledge and Kate Raworth’s conviction.

The system we live in isn't working for the benefit of the many, and the people who could be making changes often aren't or don’t know where to start. So someone has to. I want to have a seat at that table, and I want other people to have that opportunity too.
I fully believe there are better ways of doing things in this world: more sustainably, respectfully, and responsibly, especially in marketing. Because marketing is a voice. It's a driver of change. It's how we show people's purpose to the world.
We need positive stories and positive impact now more than ever. We need sustainable marketing that takes responsibility for how it shapes people's thinking. We can do marketing better, and we must.
