Get to know me

“In Lozza Nozza we trust”

It turns out this is something my pals and clients have started saying when I’m not even there. It’s something they say when they’re trying to get focused, crack on with something, or find a simpler way of doing things.

So that should tell you everything you need to know about who I am, how I work, and the kind of questions I’ll ask you if we work together.

But on the off chance you came here to find out more than just my nickname, here’s some stuff you need to know about me.

I am obsessed with small businesses

I’ve spent my entire career working with small business owners, and frankly, I think they’re brilliant.

They’re born from passion and a need to see things done better. And they’re stuffed full of brilliant stories of brilliant people cracking on and doing the thing.

They’re fuelled by people like you, who saw that there could be a better way of doing things. Then they saw that no one else was coming to do that thing in that better way. So they harnessed that passion, went for it, and set up their business.

Which is just incredible, isn’t it?

But too often, something weird happens once that business exists. Which brings me onto my next quirk:

I am less obsessed with how small businesses are taught to market themselves, and run their businesses

Have you been online lately? We can hardly move for “small business marketing advice” from people who have never worked in a small business in their lives.

We’re told that:

  • We need to focus on marketing tactics, rather than developing an understanding of how our business functions as a whole

  • It’s only successful if it’s quick, and makes as much money as possible

  • We need to flatten our passions and get “serious” about our business

No. I’m simply not buying that. And if you’re here, reading this, then I suspect neither are you.

What can you expect from working with me?

Not looking at marketing in a silo

I mean sure, it would be great if every part of your business fit neatly into its own box. But it doesn’t work like that. We move through every phase of the customer journey, and understand how the different parts of your business are connected. That way, you can make fewer decisions and actions, whilst still creating the same level of change.

Working with your brain

However your brain works, I’m right there with you. Feel supported by someone who tells you what to do, bringing order to the chaos, and cutting through the noise to help you listen to what your passion is telling you to do next.

Working with what you want from life and business

Whether you want to grow a team and change the world, or retire by 40 to become a bee-keeper, it all sounds brilliant to me. It’s your job to picture the vision, and my job to get you there in the most sustainable, and enjoyable way possible.

Building stuff to last

We look at cash, systems, sustainability, and enjoyment, pulling it all together into one definition of success, so you can build a way of growing your business that you love.

Experiments, not random guesses

We don't throw spaghetti at the wall. Every action we take is considered against a clear  understanding of your purpose, your audience, and what actually works for your business.

I’ve got plenty more marketing opinions where that came from

Ever wondered how much better your marketing could feel?
